On the occasion of the 10th Dance Festival (18-5-2011 until 11-6-2011) organized by the Association of Greek Choreographers and the Athens Dance Week program, the Acropolis Museum participates in ‘off stage’ performances held in various areas in Athens. Athens Dance Week performances are part of the Ministry of Culture’s ‘ATHENS EVERY WEEK’ program.

On 27 and 28 May 2011, at 7 p.m., Athens Dance Week performances (Contact Improvisation - site specific performances) will be presented on the Acropolis Museum’s courtyard glass floor above the archaeological excavation.
